The machine applies the latest frequency change and speed regulation control technology introduced from abroad and is mainly applicable for the horizontal reciprocating slicing of foam. It is equipped with a fully automatic digital
control system to ensure easy operation and precise cutting.

Machine Structure

& The machine is composed of the foundation, band knife holder, worktable and electric operating box.

& The machine base consists of the foundation, post, sliding sleeve, screw and its nut, beam, lifting driver etc.

& The band knife holder is composed of the knife holder, band knife wheel and its driving unit, band knife, knife box, inclination adjustment mechanism, protective cover etc.

& The worktable consists of the platform, guide wheel, guide rail, support, platform driving unit, buffer etc.

Operating Principle

1. When the foam is placed onto the platform, the drive motor onto the machine foundation works with the V-belt and worm gear reducer to drive the drive gear and the racks behind the platform to rotate to make the platform move onto the guide rail in a reciprocating way through the roller. The position-adjustable stroke switches are installed at both ends of the guide rail to make the platform move in a parallel direction within the preset range of space to ensure parallel feeding and cutting. The buffer is installed between the platform and guide rail to reduce vibration arising during platform movement.

2. The band knife wheel is mounted onto the band knife holder. The drive motor works with the V-belt wheel for speed reduction to drive the band knife wheel to rotate, thus making the band knife revolve around the band knife wheel. The band knife holder is provided with a band knife grinding wheel to maintain a sharp blade. The lifting of the band knife holder is controlled by another drive motor. After the speed of the drive motor reduced is by the gear reducer, the drive motor works with the bevel gears at both ends to drive the screw, thus driving the screw nut and the sliding sleeve connected with the screw nut to achieve lifting movement of the band knife holder.

3. The machine is controlled by the operating panel. The operating box panel is provided with the power switch, various control buttons, operating indictor lamp, as well as thickness meter, forward, reverse and delay buttons, production meter etc.

4. The machine also has a cutting inclination angle adjustment mechanism for the band knife. When the foam is cut using the band knife, the inclination angle (the included angle between the band knife plane and the horizontal plane) may be selected according to the thickness and density of the foam. The range of the common value of inclination angle range from -2°to +3°shown as follows:
